Documenting the Pine Barrens of New Jersey

Princeton Photography Club and Pinelands Preservation Alliance Background The Princeton Photography Club organized a trip to the Pine Barrens of  New Jersey on Sunday, July 15th.  We visited three sites within the Wharton State Forest. Our guide Jason Howell is from the Pinelands Preservation Alliance. The alliance is stewards of the land and supported by donations and volunteers.  The Pinelands is 1.1 million acres of preserved land and a natural treasure in New Jersey. Generation Next

My wife (Susan Hoenig), two daughters (Gwen and Alice) and I are in an exhibit at the West Windsor Arts Council in New Jersey. The show opened on June 25th and closes on August 17th. The opening reception is July 8th from 4-6 PM. Exhibit Details The show is named “Generation Next” and showcases five families from the New Jersey metropolitan area. The curator Ivia Sky Yavelow also asked the artists to provide earlier work. Hence, the viewer of the exhibit will be able to see historical pieces of all artists.
